Mike Brigham is a retired Toronto-based small business owner with a passion for renewable energy. Mike is both co-founder and president of SolarShare, a not-for-profit co-operative which has developed a $63 million portfolio of solar projects in Ontario, supported by over 2400 public investors. Mike has stepped back from his role heading up SolarShare’s project development, but is still very active today in the operations and maintenance of the co-operative’s 53 projects. In 2015, Mike founded the M.H. Brigham Foundation, which funds various humanitarian efforts, but focuses primarily on supporting activities which fight climate change, particularly focusing on promoting the public’s transition to electric vehicles.
