Darren Rabie was born in Cape town, South Africa, where apartheid later caused his family to immigrate to Canada to begin a new life. Darren's career began after completing his Business Degree at Ivey School of Business in 1996. After a brief stint at General Mills, Darren became a successful entrepreneur and all-round ideas guy who has founded multiple companies including: The Results Group (a lead generation company) and Focus Sales Management (an outsourced sales & Salesforce.com management company). He specializes in B2B businesses, investing in small equity and tech startups, lead generation, public speaking, sales, consulting, and coaching.
Twenty five years later, he has had the pleasure of working with over 500 companies, leading 100+ employees and speaking at hundreds of conferences, associations and events throughout Canada and the US. After selling his interest in Focus in 2019, Darren now spends his time with his two teenage daughters, playing tennis, mentoring Ivey business students, and rolling up his sleeves to support the 482 Collective. |
